The very often used word “Love” is often misunderstood and misrepresented.

When I google for meaning I find as under :

A profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person. a feeling of warm personal attachment or deep affection, as for a parent, child, or friend.

An intense feeling of deep affection.

A great interest and pleasure in something.

A  feeling of strong or constant affection for a person. : attraction that may or may not include sexual desire : the strong affection felt by people who have a romantic relationship. : a person you love in a romantic way.

Essentially, true love means that you have an unwavering, unbreakable and unparalleled fondness and devotion for your partner. It’s also defined by an emotional as well as physical connection with him or her that runs immeasurably deep, and life without your significant other would be practically unthinkable.

Love is a set of emotions and behaviors characterized by intimacy, passion, and commitment. It involves care, closeness, protectiveness, attraction, affection, and trust. Love can vary in intensity and can change over time.

True love includes respect, admiration, care, and never subjecting your partner to hurt, humiliation or any form of abuse. Many assume they are in love whereas it may just be an infatuation, a one-sided feeling, or just close friendship.

The four types of love

  • Storge – empathy bond.
  • Philia – friend bond.
  • Eros – romantic love.
  • Agape – unconditional “God” love.

True love doesn’t hurt, it heals. It brings happiness to your life. It empowers you to become the best version of yourself. A real love is supposed to feel euphoric and spontaneous.

To find real love, you must first emphasize your true self. If you want someone to love you through your moments of imperfection, you must first be willing to do that for someone else. … Get to know yourself, love yourself, and learn to act and speak authentically. Be your best self.

What love means to a man?

So when a man is open, giving and affectionate with a woman on an ongoing basis, it is often his way of expressing love. For him, love means meeting her needs and having his needs met as well.

It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never ends”

When we strongly connect with our soul and its guiding force, the power of love balances our emotions and helps us keep our perspective. Love allows us to let someone go because they would be happier elsewhere even if they cheated and lied. Unconditional love is the foundation for forgiveness.

I may not be always true. Personally I believe if there is true love then there are no conditions. We often have heard if you love me you will not talk to this person or that person. That is not love it is you trying to control the other person. Love is only good when it is unconditional. There are so many songs which mention Love is surrender. Love is unbreakable. If it breaks why call it love? When you love someone you feel no difference between you and that person at all. That person is your mirror image and you talk to that person even if he/she is not with you physically.
